Our Approach

We provide a 360 degree approach to recovery.  You will have different needs at different stages, and we'll be there at every step with you, however long it takes.  It's why we only take a small number of clients at a time.  We don't want you to feel like you're just another number.

Eating disorders are often a symptom of underlying distress.

Some people can tell us what the root of that distress is but many can't.  Some think they know where it lies but then discover it's actually rooted elsewhere. Rapid Transformation Therapy or Hypnotherapy can help us to identify and overcome this distress together, providing you with freedom to live your life how you choose!

We will provide a solid foundation for you to lean on when you leave our care - making sure you have relapse prevention tools in place and the confidence to identify when (and if) you might need to use them

A holistic approach to your recovery

We can offer you expert therapy and nutrition counselling to reach food freedom and recovery but we also encourage a holistic approach. For those local to Hereford, we have very good links with a variety of specialists offering reflexology, yoga, massage, etc

Yoga can offer value by providing a more stable and ultimately healing way to cope with these feelings. The movements involved in yoga can help people regulate their emotions, while multiple studies point towards yoga’s efficacy in helping people to reduce and manage their anxiety. It is also a means through which people can decrease the symptoms associated with depression and cope with the psychological impact of trauma.

Yoga at Home
Massage Therapy

Any form of massage boosts dopamine and serotonin production and can lower cortisol (stress  hormone) levels, which can help you better cope with recovery

Mindfulness, meditation or even just the art of relaxing and taking time for yourself can enhance healing.

Mind and body practices focus on the interactions among the brain, mind, body, and behaviour creating calmness.  This can improve psychological balance, provide coping mechanisms and improve general health and well-being.
